BlueBlack Elite Fitness ("BlueBlack", "we", "our", or "us") operates the BlueBlack mobile application and the website at blueblackfitness.com. We are a fitness center based in Abuja, Nigeria.

2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use our app or services:
- Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number when you register.
- Profile information: Fitness goals, profile photo, and membership details.
- Payment information: Transaction records processed through Paystack. We do not store your card details — these are handled directly by Paystack.
- Workout data: Workout logs, check-in history, and exercise records you create in the app.
- Device information: Device type, operating system, and app usage data for performance monitoring.
- Camera: Only used to scan QR codes for gym check-in. We do not store photos captured during scanning.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your membership account
- Process subscription payments and renewals
- Enable gym check-in via QR code scanning
- Send workout reminders and membership notifications (only if you opt in)
- Track and display your workout history and progress
- Provide customer support
- Comply with applicable Nigerian law
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Paystack: To process payments. Subject to Paystack's own privacy policy.
- Supabase: Our database and authentication provider. Data is stored on their servers.
- Expo / EAS: Used to deliver app updates.
- Law enforcement: Only when required by Nigerian law or a valid court order.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Opt out of marketing notifications at any time from the app Settings screen

7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure token-based authentication. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
